i’m new so this could be wrong or i am misunderstang your footer problem. is it (the footer) not a widget, go to appearance , widget and check where you put it. ps what is the wideget or is it html ?

Thanx tarun that is the problem…I have taken over this website..and trying to figure out whats going on..there is no html at the bottom of the page as a footer….I’ll go check out appearance and see if that is it…btw…did you see that page…:)

I looked at the footer in appearance…that is it….but for some reason my widgets are aligning at the bottom with the footer on top….cant figure this out.

Start by sorting out the markup errors. You have a stack of missing closing tags – including at least two missing </div> tags.

Thank you Theme Diva…I looked at all the markup errors…..this is a great site….but…there are no errors in the html….the references of the errors are errors themselves….I checked all the closing font, br, and div tags….this validator unfortunately was mistaken….

OK….It was the extra </div> tag….I needed 3 of them….Thank You….but that validator said I had so many errors….and all but the <div> tags was wrong….weird….:)
