Please help with SmartRSS

  • If anyone knows how to edit smartrss to not show the URL with smartrss let me know.

    I am trying to convert a Joomla site to wordpress now using RSS, but feedwordpress fails because I want to syndicate each seperate category into a new wordpress category. Without them lumping togethter (If feedwordpress sees multiple feeds from one URL it will mess up importing all teh feeds into the saem category no matter how you sort it.).

    SmartRSS would be good for me, but it links to the source of the article and since I am discarding Joomla all of those “source” links will be nothing more than links to my old joola articles (Which don’t exist anymore since I am using wordpress now. I will have an entire site full of 404 pages

    I would have to edit hundreds of posts.

    If anyone knows how to edit smartrss to not show the URL with smartrss let me know.

  • If anyone can help, I would also appreciate the info. I looked at the plugin source in the plugin editor, but was unable to find where I needed to make changes.
