We want to host several Word Press accounts for different websites. I know I could have used the multisite and still might but I was told this way would work.

WordPress has been installed into the root folder and it has also been installed into several student subfolders, we have registered several domains and I’ve pointed some of them to the folders. i.e. https://www.top10sportplayers.com

This works, but when I click on one of the links on this site the full URL path shows up https://www.scd-emarketing.com/ivan/filename

Has anybody any solutions or advice on this? I want people to see the same url in the address bar

  • Your probably using some sort of url forwarder instead of actual A records on the domain.

The best thing you could do is get yourself some cPanel web hosting, setup the blogs on the new cPanel hosting then use the addon domain features within cPanel to map domains to the folders.

    Quickest & easiest solution ^

    On second thoughts.

    The URLs are working

Go to wp-admin > settings > general and make sure the domain name is set to top10sportplayers.com. That will solve it ??
