    Hello forum friends

    I have migrated a site from dev server to client’s server and the site is broken.
    I have tried everything in all the documentation about migration troubleshooting in wordpress and in theme documentation. Avada theme. This is the fourth site I have made and migrated with this theme and all have worked, but I have no idea what went wrong here.

    The console shows errors and I am unable to access the theme options page in the backend, so I think it must have to do with the theme, but theme support says it is not.

    Sliders are not loading. the site logo is not loading. the images are there in the media library though..
    the hamburger menu also does not work when clicked.
    The portfolio is not showing.
    Galleries are not loading.
    re,ated posts are not laoding on blog posts and there is just a huge blank space there instead.
    all the sad faces ?? ?? ??

    I think it’s a jquery error…

    I have been really struggling with this and the site is overdue by 4 days now and I’m freaking out!

    Step by step, walk me through what you did to migrate the site.

    What I’m seeing is that your server stalls serving content. How is this site hosted?

    I get an error on https://dev.codepuffin.co.za/admin/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/GothamHTF-Book.ttf. You need to fix that link, wherever it is.

    I see several other error like that. Use the plugin “better search replace”. Search for https://dev.codepuffin.co.za/admin/ and replace with https://www.derrynschmidt.com/

    Thank you so very much for your reply!

    I ran velvet blues to replace links when migrating.

    But great news! the site is fixed!!!!! The theme needed patches applied. So simple. I can’t believe how long this took me to fix. hahahahaha

    Now there are just some images missing ?? But, I’m manually re-uploading those. Site is working ?? I am so relieved!
