• Hello

I am using this great plugin on several sites and not had a problem until today. One of my sites has suddenly started throwing errors and warnings in the log file when trying to create the full backup archive.
It looks like backwpup is looking in the wrong directory, here is a snippet from the log file

It carries on trying to add another directory on until it gets to about 15 and then fails.

Any help would be great please

I have just checked with fatcow and it is an issue with backwpup, it has duplicated the main directory many times over. I ma about to uninstall and re install but can someone please check this out

    Hi
I also just started getting errors after running flawlessly from installation.
I hope the new beta version will soon be pushed out that fixes these issues.

    I am getting this error:
Error: Maximum execution time of 50 seconds exceeded

    I also get a warning:
Warning: No folder to back up

I use the free version and the FAQ doesn’t seem to address this issue. I don’t know quite how to fix the error.
Is this a server response time error??
    How should I procees?

Thank you for considering my problem.

    Hi

I have resolved this issue (for the time being at least) by uninstalling backwpup and then reinstalling.
I also deleted all of the repeated folders on my server.

Program somehow copies the main folder into itself the again and again, about 20 in my case. backwpup then starts looking in those folders and hits the problem.

Just keep checking the directory structure on your server.

hope one of the developers looks into this problem
