Please help me solve this "Warning"!

Try switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

Thanks so much for your reply. So I went in to my site’s account on the host and added -old to the end of the file…but nothing has changed. Do you have another suggestion of what would need to be edited to bring my site back?

What file? Please re-read the suggestion I gave above. You’re supposed to rename your current theme’s folder.

Yes, that is what I did!….no change.

Do you have an unedited copy of the Twenty Eleven theme in your wp-content/themes folder? If in doubt, upload a fresh copy of this theme using FTP.

Ok, I just uploaded it. And how do I go about switching that to my theme?

I did change the name to kid-old!

Not according to your site, you haven’t. Are you using any caching plugins?

Well, your site is still using the kid theme.

how can I change that, other than doing what I’ve already tried to do?

Ask your hosts if they are running a cache.
