Please Help Me – I’m sure it’s simple problem

  • I have installed Wp everything seemed to be going fine until I log in

    There are no graphics displayed on the dashboard its just a load of HTML

    It seems to all work fine but its impossible to use.

    Please help – I can’t be the only person with this problem.

  • Try re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders.

    No use – have tried that a few times now.

    Have you got javascript enabled in your web browser? What browser are you using?

    Trying it on both IE and Firefox

    I am fairly sure I have Java Script enabled.

    – I have since tried uninstalling 2.8 and installing 2.7 and now it is saying Error establishing a database connection – but it’s the same one that was letting me in on 2.8

    If anybody can really help me with this I am willing to pay at this stage.

    The error you’re currently getting suggest that that you may have mist-typed something within the wp-config.php file (eg db username or host etc)

    I’m having the same problem: my Dashboard looks like a list of things to do. Any ideas on how to fix it? I upgraded with Automatic Upgrade.
