• I have a new mini site using the theme NEWS 0.2. I have a few questions:

    1) I noticed that my first post didn’t have a way for people to comment and I created my 2nd post they are still the same, no way to comment. However in my pages which is: About, Contact, Privacy, Sitemap, etc., they all have a way to comment. People can post comments but in my regular posts there are no way to comment. I checked in my WordPress dashboard under Settings: discussions, everything is okey. Comments are on. I don’t know if there is something that I am missing to turn on. You can check my site here: https://paracordknots.com. Please help! Thanks

    2) Is there a way to turn on and off the comment tool? I am thinking of now putting off the way to comment. But I don’t know where in the dashboard can I do that. I need your help! Thanks!

    3) Every post I create they all fall in one page in the front page or I should say they all fall in one column in the front page . How can I make each post to be in different pages not in one column front page? Your help will be appreciated. Thanks!

I look forward to hear from you. Thank you very much in advance!

  • 1. Tick “Allow comments” in the Discussion pane on each Edit Page. If you do not see this pane, click Screen Options and tick “Discussion”.

    2. See above.

    3. Try publishing Pages and not Posts.

    1. when you click on the post title of the posts on the front page, they go to individual posts where I can see a comment form.

(comments on index pages are by default supressed in wordpress.)
