please help me find my themes directory!

  • I apologize in advance for the complete idiocy of this question, but I am a clueless wordpress moron (apparently). I am using the Spun theme to build my portfolio website and I’m attempting to create a child theme so that I can then read up some more and try to figure out how to make the almost invisible menu links visible. Anyway, despite reading an entire book on wordpress, poring through answers from this forum to similar questions and reading tons of support documentation, I cannot for the life of me figure out where the themes directory (wp-content/themes) is located. Please help and give a brother a clue…

  • It’s on the server where your WP site is installed – here:

    wordpress
   wp-content
       themes
           spun
           twenty...
           (various other themes likely here too)

    OK, I finally figured out that I needed to go to “hosting control center” rather than the WP dashboard
