Please help, i must be on the short bus

So I absolutely couldn’t get my send referrer thing to work. I tried everything on the faq but can’t get my options to update. So I tried my roommates computer and the only thing i changed was the wordpress url (big mistake i know), but it worked. Only once though. And now neither computer can update the options due to the whole send referrer thing. I’ve tried firefox, ie, changed the settings, added trusted sites, disabled my firewall, norton, mcafee, everything…on both computers (although same network). I’m about ready to break my 19″ lcd i’m so angry. Can someone please help me?
