• Ok, I attempted to upgrade fashionista101.com/home, to WordPress 2.61. The upgrade went fine, but permalinks were re-set to default. When I attempted to set them to the way they originally were, all went wrong and I came back here and read up about it. Long story short, I changed the blog url or wordpress url (can’t remember which)- and added an index.php and now we can’t log in and Yahoo support has totally abandoned us, saying they can do nothing. When attempting to log in we are taken here: https://fashionista101.com/home/wp-admin/upgrade.php?_wp_http_referer=%2Fhome%2Fwp-admin%2F and of course can go no further. Yahoo also apparently set the site back to 2.5.1- which is fine. We just need to get back into admin to fix the url.

Please can anyone help? I have upgraded my site a million times with no problem, so naturally I feel awful to have tried to help my friend and ruined her site.

I read a fix in another post and finally was able to log in. Amazingly enough, the url and blog address were not changed to contain index.php. The site however has problems now it didn’t have before, permalinks are still broken and the ability to upload images is gone. When we try to upload iamges it says: “The requested URL https:// was not found on this server.”

I told my friend she should leave Yahoo but she brought her domain name through them and we think they may not allow her to leave them and take her domain name.

A fix if anyone has one for the upload problem would be great. If she cant leave we want to at least be able to use the site again.

    Thank you ??

I told my friend she should leave Yahoo but she brought her domain name through them and we think they may not allow her to leave them and take her domain name.

If she owns the domain name, she can do anything she wants to with it.

Also, at least the permalinks I checked were working fine.

The Uploading can be as simple as its not linking to the upload folder. When you upgrade or move a DB it uses absolute URL and not relative links. So it may be as simple as going into the admin area and in options changing the path that the uploads go to…

For the Hosting. Slots are open for my server and the rates are not bad.

e-mail me for more details but I would be glad to help you out in that department
