Re-uploading core files

    Can some one please help me.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and the wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    I dont know how to do that! I will change my password and give it to you. please help me?? i’ve put a lot of work in this and i’m on a deadline for school.

    please, please??

    It seems like you’re trying to update your site to the latest version, right?

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and the wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    Seems like you got this message from your webhost.
    And also you can’t do this via your WP dashboard you need to do it manually.
    Do you know how to use FTP?

    Hi Alpatrose,

    After i’ve installed the latest update i got an plugin error.
    I’ve tried al the other steps they gave but nothing works.

    I have Filezilla but i don’t know how to do it. I’m a little bit desperate because i have a lot of work in it and i’m on a deadline for school.

    I can’t find a step bij step video or guide to do it. It took over 3 hours to only connect with Filezilla with the server. So you know how much experience i got with Filezilla :s

    Can you help me?

    Do your hosts have a file management application that you can use?

    No, ik work with Hostingsiteforfree. is it possible to copy the content and paste it in a fresh wordpress some way?
