Please help (Firefox AMD64 bug?)
-
Hi,
I can’t upload images. Now I know this is trivial and that I should read the FAQ and go to https://faq.wordpress.com/2006/07/16/how-do-i-upload-pictures/
which is what I did.
Here’s what happens:
I upload an image and on it I choose the following options:
Using Original
Not Linked
Send to editor
Delete
Close OptionsAnd then click Send to editor. But then all I get is the image title in text.
The HTML looks like this:
<img id="image7" alt="test" />
i.e the source property is not set!
Does anyone know why this might be? I use Firefox on an ubuntu amd64 distro.
Also, if I try to go the other route, adding an image by clicking the tree icon in the editor, I can add an image but it does not show in the textbar. It only shows the image placeholder. Then, when I try to save, my browser tells me this:
“The changes you made will be lost if you navigate away from this page. Press OK to continue and cancel to stay on the page”
So, what happens is if I try to save my browser thinks I’m navigating somewhere else and not trying to submit the changes I made. Needless to say, if I continue the changes are lost.
Is there some setting in firefox that I don’t know about?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
