Please help, can't submit booking

I’m trying to setup events manager for a friend but I can’t get the bookings to work. I’ve setup the page and an example course. When I complete the booking and click on “send your booking” it displays the no events message – “Sorry, there aren’t any available courses at the moment”

If I could get this working I’d gladly go pro. Any help would be hugely appreciated.
