Please help

I am sure there is a post or thread on here but i am so new to blogging I dont know the terminology to search for it. So i am going to put it in “i am dumb” terms in hopes you can point me to the right thread for answers. I think it is a simple filter or category issue but I dont know how to word it or search for it.

I have two blogs one at mafiaslayer.com/blog and the other at overbyconcepts.com/blog.

I am having issues on both lets start with mafia slayer. On this blog i created 3 pages or I thought I did in the hopes that I could make new posts in the appropriate pages. That wasnt working they were all goign on same page. So than I made categories and when I make a post i click which category i want it in but they alwasy sweem to go under game updates and never anythig else. What can I do to fix this? I had my game coder put in the head banner and page layout so I know nothig about any of that if it pertains to that.

On the overbyconcepts one I chose the theme and layout I suppose since I didnt have any help. I wanted to make this an online travel blog / business / game plug if you will. I tried setting up pages for traveling, the business side (overbyconcepts), the game (mafiaslayer) and I did but you cant see the pages. So then I made categories UFC, Mafiaslayer, Travel, and Overbyconcepts. And every post I make in their goes to thailand but to get to the thailand posts you have to scroll down and click on thailand keyword to get to the thailand page.

I guess my question is what exactly is a wordpress page. My assumption is that it is a topic like in a forum and all posts/threads under that topic should be found there. Is this wrong? Is this what categories are in wordpress?

I want my website to be like this……. u type in the address bar mafiaslayer.com/blog and you go to home page were you see

Mafia Slayer Game updates Game strategy

you click on mafia slayer to get pertinent site infromation and basic other information.

You click on game updates to see the most current post on the rounds and game info

You click on Game strategy to find posts on how to play the game work out to be one new post a week.

Right now every post goes to game updates

mafia slayer–just game post updates to plug it from a diffeernt site

Reminders–gift idea posts for christmas time or birthdays when i come across something just want to add it to a list for someone here.

how can I set this up? IS there a thread or post to help walk me through this? Is there someone I can pay to do it? Can you point me in the right direction.
