• Wow, what a nightmare. I paid a guy online to build my website. He did a good job, but now he seems to have disappeared – his website is down and emails come back undeliverable. I really need to make changes to my site, but when I log into WordPress none of the code for the pages is visible – the website is there, images are there, but none of the code shows up in text view. Finewoodmasters.com

Then I took a WordPress class at the local tech college hoping to learn enough to be able to edit my site, but still couldn’t access the code (the instructor couldn’t figure it out, either). The instructions for Alyeska show how to “Hide Theme Options Pages From Your Client” https://www.red5llc.com/bfl/wp-content/themes/alyeska-premium-wordpress-theme2/documentation/#hide-options , which I guess is where the problem lies. Looks like I can just undo the steps he did to make them invisible (made some things into comments with //). However, I can’t figure out how the guy in the video gets to the Code View to access these. I’m a newbie, trying really hard to figure this out. At 2:36 in the video, he clicks on the button at the top to get to the theme folders. I don’t seem to have that button in WordPress to get to those files, or at least I can’t find it if I do. Can anyone help? This is a real problem for me. I’ve worked REALLY hard to be able to edit my website, but even after taking a class at the local tech college I still can’t. Please help!!!

One thing I forgot to add, interestingly the Theme Options button is still there. I can go in and change the Styles, Layout, Configuration, etc. but when I go to the Pages button, then click edit, there’s nothing there! Not in the Visual or the Text Mode. Can someone please help?
