Please fix this importer

    Can someone PLEASE fix this plugin….year after year I (and others) keep experiencing “depreciated this” “depreciated that”, failed to import media….etc etc. So many people experience this chronic problem with this importer. I have to remake things like menus which can be annoying.

    As a side note, I make themes and create demo sites, so I move a lot of themes and content. I think I will probably drop this importer and use a site cloning plugin.

  • They fix it already in https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress-importer . I don’t understand why it isn’t here. Hope it helps to you ??

    I am also having problems importing images. I am transferring from wordpress.com to www.remarpro.com. Some of my images have been transferred across with the import, but some haven’t. I’ve tried running this new wordpress importer plugin and it’s still not got everything. Can you help please?

    Today we released version 0.6.4 of the WordPress Importer which includes a fix for this issue.
