Please explain Views Settings + Switch Views. Data is sent to all views

    I was going through all the blog posts and support requests but I couldn’t find a solution to my question.

    I’ve got 3 views on my GA Property: All Website Data, Master View, Testing View

    Could you kindly explain what the “Views Settings” function does, because when choosing “Testing View”, the data is sent to not only that view but “Master View” and “All Website Data” as well.

    This a multisite network and under “Properties/Views Settings”, my test view for this subsite is selected. Please see screenshot: https://prnt.sc/psit0p

    Am I missing some configuration on GA to enable tracking for only the testing view?
