I already have auto-updates enabled. Auto-updates have been enabled for weeks on this plugin. The Complianz plugin however, in WP dashboard, shows an “Urgent” “task” with this text: Please enable auto updates for Complianz. This is mandatory when TCF is active, to be able to quickly adapt to new requirements by the IAB. For more information, please read this article.

Is the plugin folder changed from the default? If the folder was renamed, possibly the plugin doesn’t recognize it as enabled.

    Hi @wpdev8195,

In addition to the above: disabling auto-updates for Complianz once, and then re-enabling auto-updates for the plugin once more has a high likelihood of resolving the issue.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

How do I disable auto-updates for Complianz? There is no link to do that on the Plugins page.

On the right side column, the text reads “Auto updates enabled” but the text is gray, not blue. It is not a link. Clicking on it does nothing.

For another plugin that shows auto-updates are enabled, the text is a blue, clickable link.

OK, so I had to go to Complianz – Wizard – Consent – Services and under “Are any of your advertising cookies used to show personalized ads?” I changed the answer from “Enable TCF” to “No”

Now the auto-update warning went away from the Complianz plugin settings page in WP, and the plugins listing page shows the text “Enable auto-updates” text in blue. Note the text changed by itself from “Auto updates enabled” to “Enable auto-updates”
