I installed WP in the subdirectory. https://www.site.com/blog

I installed a theme.

The theme has a home page on the nav bar. Home About …

The Home page of the theme points to https://www.site.com/blog

I want the Home page to point to https://www.site.com and look like the blog theme.

what do I do to make https://www.site.com look like my blog?

Can I change the url of Home to https://www.site.com ?

WP help says not to make your sitename a permalink.

I want to be able to type different content on the Home page.
