Please don’t force this on us

I’m not one that doesn’t like change but Gutenberg is a mess. I tried writing my regular weekly post with it tonight and what should have taken 5 minutes to format (I type offline and copy across) took an hour. Even accounting for the curve of learning new procedures, it shouldn’t take that long.

Even when I had finished, it didn’t look anything like what I wanted so I reverted to the classic editor and had my post ready 5 minutes later. Unless this plugin gets a massive overhaul it should stay as a plugin. Please do not force us to use this or install a plugin to avoid using it.

If you want something that will add blocks to your posts there are better plugins/themes already out there. Gutenberg is a complete mess.
