Please Critique My Website

Hello all wordpress enthusiasts!!! Me and my hubby we created our site: https://skinnywithfiber.org/ and we want to make it the best site possible related to the topic.

One thing that is bugging me though is that its kinda slow for me. What do you think??? Also could you tell me about some plugins that might increase speed of my website??? I am currently on GoDaddy, maybe that is the problem.
