    Being a developer, I strongly believe in the “give credit where credit is due” policy, and I greatly appreciate that you have the statement “This plug-in was inspired by littlewebthings’ CountDown jQuery plugin” in your description. However, I would like to kindly request that you add the original copyright notice to your javascript source file, as per the request of the original author’s permission notice:

    Dale,

    the countdown script in its current form has been completely re-written from the original littlewebthings script. It’s inspired by, and as you mention we give a nod, but we removed credit text block when we stopped using the littlewebthings code back in 2011.

    As far as giving credit, we are also developers and completely agree with giving credit where it’s due.
