    Hello,

I have been building my e commerce site for almost 6 months. The site is comprised solely of amazon affiliate links. I have not launched the site yet as we are still in the building phase.

I opened a page today to find all of the products no longer in grid form but pushed to the far left side in a vertical line going all the way down the page. One product on top of the other.

When I tried to search for and load another product I see this message above the search box in the text block I use to place each affiliate link on my wordpress theme:

“Please configure your PA-API credentials in the Settings Page to use the Link Builder features.”

I am not able to search for products on via the plugin feature on my text box. This now seems to be disabled.

We updated from 1.4.10 to 1.7.0 and this did not change anything aside from the error above in the text box going away but nothing else is fixed. All of the products remain pushed to the left side of the page and now the description underneath each product is displaying far more descriptive text than previously which was just the title of the product and the $amount.

My API KEY says “ACTIVE” on my amazon associates account page. My API key and my “secret” key are present on my AA link builder plugin on my WordPress theme dashboard AA page/Settings. However, I am not able to click on SAVE CHANGES. Something is wrong but I do not know what it is.

Would very much appreciate help and guidance.
    Thank you!

Below is the response from Amazon. Not helpful. My keys are ACTIVE.

Is there anyone, anywhere who can help with this issue???? Imagine if the site was launched, with traffic, and no one from Amazon to assist with this problem. My site is completely askew and I am unable to touch the affiliate links, to build or otherwise.

No one from Customer Service for Amazon Affiliates has provided any suggestions. Solely inquiring about whether the key is active or not. If active they don’t know what to do. On Monday all was working perfectly, Tuesday morning all was askew.

Below is the response from Amazon:

    Hello,

You may want to double check that the AWS access keys. IAM users don’t have access to the Product Advertising API. You can check this by signing in here:

    https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/assoc_credentials/home.

Once signed in, your access key ID and status will be displayed. If your access key is showing as inactive or you would like a new set of keys click on the “Add Credentials” button to receive a new public and secret keys. If you already have 2 access keys on your account you will need to delete one in order to receive a new set.

Once you have your new keys, you will need to update the API on your website to maintain functionality.

I’m not able to provide troubleshooting beyond this. If your access keys are active, and you are still experiencing problems, we recommend that you post to the AWS developer forums for further assistance.

    General AWS Forum: https://forums.aws.amazon.com/forum.jspa?forumID=8
    Product Advertising API Forum: https://developer.amazonwebservices.com/connect/forum.jspa?forumID=9&start=0

I hope this helps. We hope to see you again soon.

We’d appreciate your feedback. Please use the buttons below to vote about your experience today.

    Best regards,

    Dear Users,

The issue that you are facing is because AdBlockPlus filtering list named EasyList has added all the CSS & JS of the plugin into their blocking list in this week. You can check this by disabling AdBlocker and everything will work fine.

In order to make you wesbite work with Adblocker, you can request Ad-Blocker to remove ‘.aalb-pa-ad-unit, amazon-associates-link- & ProductAd’ from their filtering list. You can report this over their forum or raise an issue on their github stating that these are part of your content.

In case you are still facing issue after disabling the ad-blocking plugin, please feel free to reopen this thread.
