    Hello!

I’m using MailPoet Sending Service across my site, and was pleased with the system until recently.

I have a Contact Form that is supposed to set the user’s submitted email as the ‘reply-to’ address on the form entry notification. However, MailPoet’s settings are overriding this and I can’t figure a way to prevent it.

Your service actually supports multiple ‘from’ in the newsletters, provided they are authorized via https://account.mailpoet.com/authorization.

It does as well support setting the reply-to manually for each newsletter.

Could you please improve your plugin so that reply-to set by other sources than MP is respected, and the from is kept when listed in the authorized adresses?

It’s a fundamental requirement for starting transactional emails to be able to hit reply, and has no relation to relation to the CC, TO or BCC fields that you refer to in an old answer to similar question:

Unfortunately, this is a limitation of our own sending service: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/292-choose-how-to-send-your-wordpress-websites-emails#cc

In this case, you should go to MailPoet Settings > Advanced > Send all site’s emails with… and change the method to send the transactional emails back to the WordPress’ default sending method.

Thanks for your nice plugin, hard work, and hope you’ll consider the added value of this request that would make lots of people more encline to use your plugin.

    Respectfully,
    Berteh.

  • Hi!

Thanks for the feedback! As we mentioned in the support doc you linked, this isn’t currently possible and the workaround would be just switching the transactional emails to the default WordPress method.

However, I’d encourage you to leave this as a feature request in our feedback board:

    https://mailpoet.canny.io/

So we can consider it for a future improvement of our plugin if it’s requested by a lot of people.

    Have a nice day!
