Please add German Formal (de_DE_formal)

    Hi Tim,

    great plugin, works really nice!

    As I changed lots of my clients websites to German formal language (de_DE_formal), it would be great to have the option to create translations for German formal in Loco Trans as well.

    Could you please add an option for de_DE_formal on the “New PO file”-/”Initialize new translations”-page? At the moment only regular PO file format xx_XX is supported.

    Hi. This is currently being incorporated into version 2.0. In fact the new version will pull language codes from the WordPress API so the latest are always available.

    Until then I’m afraid you’ll have work around the problem using filters. You could use any language code (e.g. de_ZZ) and then filter the MO file paths at runtime to load this file instead of de_DE_formal.
