    meanwhile , if your goal is to disallow search engine to go through your page, you can use robot.txt file as alternative.

    Is there any reason you don’t use <noindex>Don't index this text.</noindex> while use <!--noindex-->Don't index this text.<!--/noindex--> ?

    Tag <noindex>... </noindex> causes HTML code validation error
