Add Data parsing to Docs

  • Hi Tobias.
    Awesome plugin, but I was wondering why you do not include any info on how the tables data are stored in WPDB and how they can be accesssed easily from let’s say external plugins? Have not found any info about it in docs, only in a 2-year-old issue here.
    Would be nice if you included this info in an obvious way.

    Just a suggestion to add it to FAQ or Docs.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    I don’t recommending editing TablePress data directly in the database, due to the format and dependencies. Instead, you should use the PHP functions that TablePress uses itself (in the model-table.php file). These are somewhat similar to an API.
