Play/Pause Button non responsive during initial play of track

The Play/Pause button is not working on Chrome and Safari. I’ve tried every combination of settings. The only time the play/pause button works is if I deselect “audio repeat loop”, wait for the track to end it’s initial play, then press the play/pause button. Any help would be much appreciated. Love the plugin otherwise. Thanks.
