[playlist] in "Variation Description" field, sometimes displays empty

    Hi, first of all, thanks for this wonderful plugin!!!
    I need to put a [playlist] shortcode in the “Variation Description” field of a variable product. When I set “Default Form Values” to some available option, the playlist renders wonderfully! But if I select any option from de dropdown menu in the front-end, the playlist renders empty, even if the option selected is the default value. The same occurs if in back-end I set “Default Form Values” to “No default…”, playlist renders empty.
    Any ideas on this? I realy need this. Thanks a lot!

    Assuming the playlist functionality is JavaScript powered, it won’t rerender without listening for our events once the description is updated. If this is not a WC plugin you’ll need some customisation to get it working. Consider jobs.wordpress.net

    Hi Mike, thanks for your answer!
    Is just the WP playlist based on media.php with a little customization. The behavior is exact the same as WP original playlist.
    I obtained good results using a custom menu instead of the default variations menu.
