Playing Nicely with Elementor

Hi team,

I’ll start with praise – this looks to be a fantastic plugin that will help in many ways a lot of my builds. I do however, have some questions/feedback. Love it or hate it Elementor is one of the biggest page builders for WP. I’m having trouble getting it to play nicely.

I’ll explain; the main documents page – the archive – I can’t seem to get this page to ‘Edit with Elementor.’ Out of the box, it’s formatting terribly and is unusable. With a bit of work within the Elementor builder, it’d display correctly (for my build) and look great.

Can I please get some help in using it within an Elementor page?

Of course, if there’s a simple way to do this that I’m not seeing, let me know and I’ll be on my merry way.

To confirm, I’m not talking about using Elementor for a Document post, I’m talking about editing the main documents archive. Simply enabling Elementor for the post type in settings allows me to use Elementor for the posts, I’m talking about the Archive.
