• I have a podcast I’d like to play on two different wordpress sites that I own. It’s the same podcast, but I only want certain podcast episodes on each site, so essentially each site would have a different play list of various episodes. Is there a way to perhaps put a player on the second site and have the origional stay the host? Any suggestions on how to make this work? I’m okay with the second site not having a separate iTunes feed, since it’s a break-off site from the original. Thanks so much!

The PowerPress player does have an embed feature for individual episodes but not playlists. The media files would have to exist on the second site in order to make a playlist on the second site. You might be able to do this even without using PowerPress on the second site. WordPress has its own built-in playlist feature that the PowerPress playlist is based on. You might be able to use just that to get this done. I’m afraid I’m not personally familiar with the WP playlist function but you could research it to see if it’ll do what you want.

You could use WordPress categories from the primary site and use a special category for episdoes you want to appear on the 2nd site. Then find a resource to pull the podcast feed on a daily or weekly basis that will import new posts to your 2nd blog. I do not know of any importing plugins though that will capture all of the blog post meta data, so this approach may be limited.
