Player statistics not updating correctly

As you can see, league tables and player statistics use same formula but show different data and that is “pointsfor” and “pointsagainst”. ??

It looks like that league isn’t being loaded correctly into your player.

One thing you can do is to set your events as drafts, This way we’d see how your player profile is when there are no events for that league.

Then you add your events back as published one by one, and we’ll see which ones aren’t being counted.

Ok, i’ve tried setting matches to draft and I can see what matches cause problems but nothing helps… tried deleting those matches and publishing them again but nothing happens in player statistics. League tables load perfectly. ??
This is not isolated player, it happens with some other players too.

Since it’s isolated to some events let’s take a look at their setup.

How are the competition, season and points set for them? Could you send us a screenshot of an event that is working x one that isn’t?

We need to find out what is the common factor between these events. If it’s a specific player, a season, a competition, maybe even how the points are being registered.

I thought I knew what the problem is. Since this is tennis competition and injuries happen we had replacements for those players and I simply changed the player name. I think problem happened when I went and changed player names for already played games where I exchanged database old player name with new player name. Had i left it with old name i think everything would be fine.

My next step was to delete that player and reenter all their game results but that didnt changed single player statistics
Now i have it even worse since my statistics for that player is 0-0 (even though statistics on main table WORK just fine and show correct data). ??

Oh, this could cause some issues indeed.

Did you add this player to the competitions and seasons you are on?

You need to do this in the player edit screen.

If they are working fine on the main table this is very likely to be an issue just with the player setup.

It looks like other players are working fine, what happens when you compare them? Maybe there are some simple to spot differences.

Hey Roch,

1. Changing player name didn’t cause problems, changing already played games with previous player name to current player name in database caused this problem.

2. Yeah, I added player to this competition and season since i can see him in table and fixtures and i definitly checked this. Their statistics are fine on main table but their single player statistics are wrong…
I know they take statistics from different configuration table=table configuration and single player statistics=player statistics configuration but the formula is the same :

I thought that formula takes points from same source, but it would not appear that way when viewing my problem. ??

As you can see, i’ve set league and season and ticked season career total.
And this works for other players:

But their data since this havoc happend doesnt show correctly, due to matches played with exchanged players. For this player it should show 4-21, not 4-11.

Also, i encountered another problem. Where can i turn off auto title generator for new events? what is happening is that when i select players at the bottom who are playing a match it sorts them by name. For example, match is Smith vs Archer. No matter what i do, when i select first smith and then archer, Title generates Archer vs Smith. Where can i turn off this alphabetical order ?
This creates lots of problems since if i want to do this manually in title it shows wrong results front end.

As you can see in this picture, front end mixes players and it shows wrong data.

It would be awesome that title is generated based on selected players order, not alphabetical.
