• The player, which was previously functioning perfectly, no longer shows up in posts where it was inserted.
Previously when editing a post and inserting an audio file, the code showed up in the “edit post” section. Now the actual player shows up. And functions perfectly.

But when the post is published, the player is not visible, or obtainable. As I say, this is a recent development, possibly since the last update.

Here’s what the published post looks like: https://traipsathon.com/2014/05/gaucho-steely-dan/

But on the Edit Post page, the player displays and works just fine.

    Suggestions?

    Hi,
If you get a look at the javascript console once on your page you will see that your page is firing an error:
    TypeError: t.support is undefined
This error is fired by Colorbox v1.5.2, not by the miniAudioPlayer and it is probably a blocking error.

Thanks, but I have no idea what any of that means. I don’t know anything about where to find a javascript console or where to find Colorbox. I goggled both terms and still have no idea. I’m one of those barely-functional people who can’t do much more than add or delete a plug-in and then hope for the best.

So I added yoursmini-player and it worked. And now it doesn’t. Is there any way for a civilian to get into the javascript console or change the version of Colorbox so that I can get your player to function again. And why would Colorbox be blocking it now and wasn’t before?

Or is this above my paygrade?

The error came from the Google-maps-widget scripts.
