Player Points Doubled

  • Hi guys!

    Loving the update. One issue I noticed since I updated is that all my player lists are doubling the actual amount of points in each category though. All my events are unchanged, example Joe Smith had 1G, 2A on the 12th of December. However, when I looked a player list from that day though it shows 2G, 4A. There are no other events that day.

    Just curious if there is a simple fix to this?

    As a follow up to this I’m curious if the Performance and Statistics tabs under the data tabs are the culprit and maybe it is adding the two together when it shouldn’t be?

    @jartibise Ah, that might explain it! If you have a Performance and a Statistic with the same name and slug (for example, Goals) then those values will be added together. A workaround to this is to change the slug of one of those:

    1. Go to SportsPress > Configure
    2. Click “View All” under Player Performance or Player Statistics
    3. Click “Quick Edit” under the variable that you’d like to change
    4. Change the slug and save change

    @brianmiyaji That worked! Just in case its happens in the future I had to edit the Player Statistics slug. It didn’t seem to work under the Performance.

    Thanks for the hasty support! It is curious that it worked prior to the update but I can’t complain as you guys have an awesome product here. I can’t wait to go Pro!
