    Hi,
Having installed and made my first page with Music Player for Elementor I have experienced some problems with playing the audio with Chrome, Firefox for macOS Big Sur and iOS 15.6.1.

The player is working as expected when using Safari on my MacBook — but when switching to iPhone it doesn’t work either.

The controls are not starting or stopping the player.

The source file is an mp3 file that is being linked to using a secure URL (https://link/to/file).

    I don’t receive any error-messages.

    Hi,

Can you please send me the URL to your website? The player works 100% in Chrome and Safari, I am quite sure that the problem is coming from a different place.

    Hi @smartwpress,

    The URL is: https://www.klarity.dk/meditationer/

I’ve also tried to use the player with Chrome and Edge for Windows as well — same issue: unable to play the audio — and it seems the controls are unresponsive when using the mentioned browsers.

I am using a CDN provider, thus the URL for the mediafile is:

    https://usercontent.one/wp/www.klarity.dk/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/KLARITY-Groundene-Selvkaerlig-Meditation.mp3?media=1661439260

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,
I was able to play the audio file in Chrome browser (Windows PC). But I see that the player icons are changed to SVG elements. Did you make changes on the plugin code? Or do you have a plugin that handles this? This could be the cause for player not working on some situations. Since the player responds when you play the control icons, on your instance, the icons are not present, being replaced with SVG elements. This is not a functionality that the player provides.

    Hi again,

I haven’t modified the plugin code at all — it is straight out of the box install and usage. The page is using one of the templates that comes with the Pro version.

I have the ‘SVG Support’ plugin installed — but that is only to be able to use SVG, and it is not automatically changing IMG elements to SVG. I have deactivated it to see if it makes any difference. I doesn’t.

I have tried to make a simple test player page with only one section and the compact player element — and still the player doesn’t work and the player control icons/images are not showing.

I used Elementer Pro when building the pages.

What is the easiest way to re-install and keep the license intact?

    Best,

    Christian
