Player lists not updating

  • I have player lists that are showing old teams for some players. For example, this year they play for the Mt. Lions after playing for the Bandits last year (2016). The player list is for 2017 only, but the list shows the players team as the Bandits (last years team) on the player list for some reason. Any idea why?

    Only way I have found to resolve this is to make a new player list, but am I going to have to do this every year for all player lists? I feel like this would be updated with the new info once inputted.

    Please kindly send us an example of your player lsit and a screenshot of your admin screen for both the right and wrong players lists. Maybe it’s a setting that is missing for them to auto update.

    Only workaround I have been able to find is to create a whole new player list with the exact same settings again and then add that new player list shortcode to the page. Once done, the player info is updated. But the process is cumbersome and time consuming for something that should auto update with the latest info. Am I missing something that you noticed?

    You do have the season set as 2017, is the player list not loading the right data still?

    Also, are you able to correctly see the players preview for that list?

    @rochesterj when doing a preview for the player list, it still shows the player listed for the old team (Bandits) and not the new team (Vikings). I have the right season and correct conference set, however, it still shows data from previous years and not the up to date data; unless of course i manually re-create each list and then update all shortcodes wherever need be, which would be very cumbersome for me to do on a yearly or monthly basis (should players switch teams mid season or join later).

    That’s really weird. Do you have any caching plugins?

    Maybe that is causing it.
