Hi, I’m having a very weird issue with Playerlists.

I am running a hockeysite with a section for the mens team and one for the female team. For both teams I have a statistiscs site that shows all the stats for the players from all seasons. This works perfectly except for one little details – both lists seems to exclude one single season / list.

The mens team is excluding playoffs from 2016/2017, and the womens team is excluding this current season from the total. I have tried to compare both the player list for the total one, and the individual ones for them both without seeing anything wrong in either.

I know I have a very custom site, but this also happened before we just updated out website a week ago, I just didn’t find out of the issue until today when I added the womens team (lower numbers as the team is pretty fresh, so easier to spot the error).

Any idea why it would exclude these ones? The mens league have like 8 seasons it picks up stats from, but its only the playoffs of that year its missing, the regular season of that year is in the calculation.

Feeling stupid and a little desperate here, haha. Thanks in advance for any help provided!

Minor update. If I take away season 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 on the womens list, which makes it say “all seasons”, the only thing that is registered is this season… So the opposite in other words.

    Hi there,

Can you share some screenshots from the settings of your player list?

    Thanks,

So, this is the playerlist I’m GETTING information from, that won’t appear in the overall

And this is the player list used to show ALL.

So sorry that its in Norwegian, hopefully it makes some sort of sense anyway. If not, let me know and I’ll see if I can find a solution.

Did you try to include all needed seasons in the “season” field instead of leaving it empty?

    Thanks,

Yea, I tried that too with no luck unfortunately ??

Next thing you can try is to avoid using “sub-leagues”. So instead of:
    First division
    —1st group
    —2nd group

    try:
    First division (1st group)
    Second division (2nd group)

and see if there is any difference on the results.

    Thanks,

    Unfortunately, that didn’t help either..

This is the setup for the womens team (they are pretty new, so less info). If I remove seasons on this one to make it “all”, only this seasons games shows up in statistics, if I choose both seasons, last seasons comes up (both Bambusaligaen and NM Kvinner-games) but not the current season…

Strange behaviour indeed, and unfortunately I am not able to reproduce it…

    @rochesterj any idea on this?

For what its worth, I even tried making a brand new playerlist for the women too, with the same thing happening. It doesn’t count the current season if I choose both 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 season, but if I set it to “all” it ONLY does the current (2023/2024) season.

I’m unable to reproduce it as well

I’ve noticed that you have some urls referencing SportsPress Pro. Are you a Pro customer? If yes, can you please get in touch via help at themeboy dot com?

    Thanks!

This is so weird. We used to be a pro customer, but we are not using the functions for it anymore, so we didn’t feel the need to have pro anymore unfortunately. I might have to consider getting pro just to have this issue sorted, but I’m afraid they’ll claim its because I have all this customization even tho it started before that.

    Hi there!

You can get in touch even without a license, we’ll take a look at it.

Indeed, disabling all custom code is the first step in the troubleshooting process. Sometimes even old code will take some time to cause issues (for example, only after you change a server setting, or add a new plugin).

    Thanks!
