Player from previous season showing up

  • I am currently setting up a website for a football league. I have 2014, 2015, 2016 as seasons and I have a player that played for Team A in 2015 and 2016.

    Current Issue: I have a player that played for Team A during 2015 season, but he played for a different team in 2016. The current player list for Team A shows this player, however, 2016 is the only season selected for Team A’s player list. Why?

    How do I get Team A’s player list to only show players for 2016 season and not previous years?

    Hi!

    Do you have matches added for the new season already? WP doesn’t deal well when you have just a taxonomy (such as seasons, competitions) and no data for it

    Yes matches are added already. I think SportsPress has a lot more bugs than are being recognized. Here is all the info so you can see I am not going crazy:

    Player: Addison Lane
    Current Team: Railroad City Bandits
    Past Teams: Mifflin County Tomahawks, Morrisdale Stormrunners
    Seasons: 2014, 2015, 2016

    I have two matches already set up for the Tomahawks between two other teams with random data entered for stats. These stats show up properly for their respective players in those matches.

    I attempted to create a new Event for a game between the Bandits and Mt. Lions. When I attempt to add stats for Addison Lane on the Bandits roster and click Update, nothing is updated at all. I can only update Mt. Lions player stats. Why????? These little bugs and head-scratchers are very time consuming.

    Making a new match that included the Bandits did not change anything. Addison is still showing up under the Tomahawks player list as well as the Bandits player list. How can I fix this?

    I am assuming this is a bug? I noticed the new update did not resolve this issue…
