Player controls not visible

I’ve gone through the support forums for the plugin and read the various posts about player controls not being visible.These are the things I’ve checked per the posts:
– Browser console for any errors. Did not see any visible.I don’t know what the .htaccess hack is. I’ve also tried modifying the excerpts without any luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
