Player Broken and No Sort Fields In Archive

have tried this a couple of ways, but when i use the archive view (rather than a page with the shortcodes), the Sort Fields won’t show up.
when i switch to a page with the shortcodes to bring in the sort fields, then the audio player is different and broken.
please advise.
