    Hello,

I inserted some abc examples into a page. It’s fine, I see and hear the music but :
    1. Sound is terrible. Is there any way to change the source of the sound?
    2. It always plays the last note heard first, from a previous abc score. I would use that plugin for educational purposes, so I want it to play exactly what is shown, so that extra note in the beginning makes it a no-go…

    Could you help? Thank you!

After some tries, more details about those 2 problems :

    (1) awful sound : happens only on long notes. Every long note starts fine but then has an extra “buzz” on it, which alters the sound.

    (2) extra-note : no matter if I click on stop or not, the last played note is heard at the next played musical example. Not necessarily the last note of the example; if I stop before the end on another note, that another note is the one we will hear at the beginning of any new played example.

    Hello,
For 1, I probably can’t handle this. Internally, the audio playback is generated by a JavaScript lib, wildwebmidi… so it’s not the plugin’s script that does this.
For 2, for this one there’s maybe something to see, please send your private link.
    Thanks

    Here an example : https://www.formation-musicale.be/testdepartitionplugin/
    password : test

–> long notes are buzzing at the end. Can I change that? (maybe another sound source, if that makes any sense?)
–> last played note is repeated when I play a new excerpt

    Thank you !

    Hello,
OK, for 1, I think it’s more on the very last note that it happens. Otherwise inside the piece it’s not convincing
For 2 : Only happens on Chrome and Safari that I just tested. Works fine on Firefox
These platform dependent behaviours are difficult to debug, but I’ll have a look.

    Hello,

I added a longer excerpt to illustrate problem 1 (buzzing note) happend on all long notes (whole, 4 beats), nog only in the end.

For 2 (playback starting with last played note): I tried on different platforms but not Safari (chrome and edge on my windows pc, and chrome and safari on my iPad Pro) but I understand now it works on Firefox. Yet I hope you could find a solution since the ones I tested are pretty popular. Crossing my fingers ??

As said #1 is a wildwebmidi bug. Won’t be fixed in Music Sheet Viewer.
#2 has been fixed in version 3.0.3
