Play video on hover

  • Hi, a very useful plugin! Good job!
    There are 3 options to autoplay videos – always, lazy loading and viewing single posts/pages.
    Can an option to autoplay on hover be added? And how much?

    Autoplay on hover does not really seem very useful for mobile devices. What do you mean how much? Will look into it.

    Another vote for play on hover. Or play on scroll.

    For mobile responsive websites, you cannot “hover” over a video. The user has to click the video play button to trigger video playback. That should be obvious to anyone who is working in mobile responsive web development.

    You also cannot trigger play on scroll, or you will not be able to actually see the video.

    On mobile devices, touch is, to my knowledge, the only appropriate option.

    @ Alex – I’m aware that on mobile devices it won’t work. Anyway, I found a different solution, without using the plugin.
