Play Custom Notification Sound

Unfortunately web push notifications can not currently play sounds when they’re received.

Also please note that Web Push is not currently possible on iOS devices.

i am not talking about web push notifications. android and ios push notifications are working just fine but i use a custom sound in my apps but for it to work i need to pass additional information.

Like www/beep.wav on the onesignal.com portal works great but i miss an option in the plugin

You’re right that there isn’t an option in the WordPress plugin at this time. Having our WordPress plugin send notifications additionally to iOS and Android devices unfortunately is not customizable using our UI checkboxes at this time.

However, we do have a small guide on using PHP code to extend our WordPress plugin through WordPress’s action/filter hooks and set options that we look for.
