• Hi

I have created a set of filters for this podcast with Elementors Taxonomy Filter and Loop Grid. The filters work just fine, however if I apply a filter, the filtered posts are displayed without the play button. The episodes loaded with infinite scroll however do contain the play button again – even filtered. I am aware that these additionally loaded episodes don’t take over my CSS for the play button, but that is a secondary problem. For my client, clicking on an episode first to get to a single page template, to play it there, is not an option.

How can I fix the missing play buttons or is there another option to display episodes that way (with some sort of filter)?

    My Elementor version is: 3.24.6
WPRocket ist installed and running as well.

    Kind regards
    Alex

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue.

Could you try navigating to Podcasting -> Settings -> Player -> Media Player Locations and ensure all the checkboxes are selected?

If that doesn’t resolve it, could you try manually inserting the player in the text instead of relying on automatic insertion?

    Hope this helps,
    Serhiy.

Thanks for your reply. I have selected every checkbox in Media Player Locations. That doesn’t help.

How would I approach inserting the player button manually?

If you’re using the standard WordPress editor for your episodes, you’ll need to add the “Castos Player” block to your episode content. If you’re using Elementor, you can use the Castos Player widget for Elementor.
