Platinum SEO Pack and custom templates

Platinum SEO Pack is not working on my custom template. I need the title tags and meta data to be populated by PSP, but I don’t know what code to put in my template so that PSP works. Like what PHP code do I put between the “<title> </tile>” tags in my header file? And do I need to put some more code in the <head></head> so that meta data is populated by PSP? Help! ??
