Platform theme sidebar problem

    Hi,
    This may have a very simple solution but for my life I cannot find it!
    I am using free Platform theme by Pagelines and I want 1 sidebar in my blog page. I have customised primary and secondary sidebars and on the page I am choosing to hide the primary but it is not happening.
    Any ideas? it is driving me mad
