I really appreciate about this solution.
But I have some questions or comment for improvement,

    1.Language support
I want build an education platform for multi-language users, like for people worldwide to learn about Chinese Culture and Art, so users might from different area and nationals. How I deal with this? Use WPML?

2.If I want to open Instructors to upload their videos, is it need a lot of storage spaces? is it cost a lot? how to deal with this? can I make a limitation for videos or photos limitations? (size or storage).
3.If I make a teaching video for instructors, tell them how to upload video in youtube, and use embedded or type the link as video sources, but you can still see the youtube channel title, that indicate use can go youtube channel to view that. is it possible to use YouTube but still private?
4.Is it support to connect with online whiteboard or some native online course?
5.For a new user of this solution, how I set the main Manu? Should I add all of the page on main menu? or at least “Instructors Register, Student Register, DashBoard, Course?” , what’s “The most simplify menu”?

    Thank you.

  • Hello @salomeliu,

    Thanks for appreciating Tutor LMS.

You can use a software like Poedit to translate Tutor source language file into your local language or you can use any popular multilingual plugin to translate.

The plugin allows you to approve instructors after they apply to become instructors from the frontend instructor button. You can also manually add instructors from the site admin’s dashboard. Adding or approving new instructor has nothing to do with video hosting platform. Tutor itself doesn’t host your video lessons rather it links to your video lesson’s hosting platform.

Tutor allows you to upload your video lessons from 5 different sources e.g. Youtube, Vimeo, HTML5, External URL
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/o5fp1cr4xtmpmb0/Screenshot_8%20%283%29.png?dl=0

As of now, it doesn’t support whiteboard feature yet.

Menu creation is similar to the creation of default WordPress menu creation.
Tutor requires THREE ESSENTIAL PAGES (Dashboard, Student registration, Instructor Registration) to function optimally so remember not to delete any of them.

    Hello @munayam,

    I have a question.

when I am a “instructor”, and “add a course”,
then I will entered a screen like this

As a platform manager, I don’t want to show information except
    tutor LMS session.

Besides, for a teacher who is not familiar with WordPress dashboard, might confused about this. Its web-based and ended in a WordPress mode. Tutor can also upload media and create posts.

Is it possible to set a “fronted page” mode? I mean not access WordPress “post” or other function. I found I have to change the “users” into “tutor” in WordPress dashboard.

This plugin is great, but as a “marketplace”, it should also stands for both “platform manager” and “instructors”, how they are easily access and also management the new course added. The alternative maybe ask the instructors to fill in a mail and platform manager has to “copy-paste”, or need more interaction via phone or chat, but its not a really automated way to upload a new product.

I tried to change the setup, but I am not sure if I really set it up, especially about “instructor” + “add a new course” part.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Instructors don’t have access to edit site admin’s posts/pages or courses but the site admin has access to modify/edit instructor created courses.

If you disable ALLOW PUBLISHING COURSE option from Tutor Settings > Instructors then they will have to submit their courses to the site admin for review. Site admin will then publish courses on instructor’s behalf with a single click from dashboard.

Instructor’s dashboard option is provided for many essential reasons, e.g. to answer student’s queries (Q & A feature) related to any specific lesson, to find info related to student’s quiz attempts and assignments, they can also make monetary withdraw requests as well.

Instructors can’t create or edit products. They can only attach relevant product to its course after a site admin creates the particular product beforehand.

You can also enable a frontend button (Tutor Settings> Instructor) for the instructors to sign up and subsequently publish their own courses.

Please don’t change the WordPress default USER ROLE- keep it as Subscriber. Tutor user role implementation architecture is dependent on the default WordPress user role setup.

    Hello @munayam,

Thank you very much. I am worried I ask too many questions.:P
Now I create a site for solution testing, also for prototype.

    Site:
    https://shop.lovesasaplanet.com/courses/

The main issue for me is the function “enroll a course”.
I use WooCommerce+TutorLms, I haven’t settle the cash flow done.
I am not sure if my setup is right, but I created two courses for testing, one is paid course and another is free but I set its charged “0”.

I register a new user to test, then I found the new user didn’t enroll any courses but could play the vides of both courses.

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/17dUqgsVd2vzYr6CZpKqG0CaOAz_jCcoi/view?usp=sharing

and dashboard also show”not enrolled any courses yet”:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1imwtSKgkmn5Xh0qiVVD-uL0qmBGAaehZ/view?usp=sharing

    And this course set “paid”:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1S4c9u3k6-Cjnja-8icjKmUJHOp-H4UWx/view?usp=sharing

Even the course enrolled student list hasn’t this student:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ECoXk7kJth26pWvpVfiDOKQAMFeSVUIs/view?usp=sharing

I wondered why? or its advanced function?

    Thank you.

    Hello @salomeliu,

It’s difficult to elaborate the entire process of creating a course, then attach it to its relevant woocommerce product in here, so I suggest that you visit our documentation pages for further perceptual clarifications.
