• I would like to use this plugin with GeneratePress, but its a hard sell because there are many other well-developed blocks plugins out there with more features that are either free, cheaper, or have a lifetime subscription option. Why doesn’t GenerateBlocks have this, and is there any plan to in the future?

GeneratePress theme costs less than GenerateBlocks… which basically only has four blocks. Frankly. it’s a horrible value proposition.

If there are, in your eyes, better alternatives that are also cheaper, then why don’t you use such alternatives? This really defies the logic of my tiny brain ??

In any case, plugin and theme authors are not allowed to provide any support (including pre-sale questions) for their commercial products here at www.remarpro.com, so you’ll need to contact the author directory on their own website: https://generateblocks.com/support/

    Good luck!

I don’t really see what is illogical about it. I would like to stay within the Generate ecosystem, as I like the GeneratePress theme and use it with several sites. So ideally would just use GenerateBlocks to ensure compatibility. But having trouble justifying it given the other Gutenberg block plugins are offering more for less.

If I wasn’t using the GeneratePress theme, GenerateBlocks wouldn’t get a second look, as its not even top 5 in the category. But it seems GenerateBlocks is taking advantage of its existing GeneratePress user base who will pay above market to stay within the ecosystem.

So was just wondering if there was any acknowledgement of this or no plan to discontinue offering an inferior product at an overpriced price point.

Some data to back up my statement:

    • GeneratePress has 600,000 installations, but GenerateBlocks has only 100,000 installations even though GeneratePress pushes their own Blocks plugin.
    • Kadence WP has only 200,000 installations, yet Kadence Blocks has 300,000 installations.

People not tied to either ecosystem are vastly choosing Kadence Blocks over GenerateBlocks.

    Hi there,

for pre-sale advice please contact the team via the pre-sale form provided at the link below:

I have been using Generatepress and GenerateBlocks for a while and have been very impressed with the support. I do not begrudge the pricing policy which they employ whatsoever. It is the best supported software I have ever purchased. If you do not want it, do not buy it. There are now 6 blocks in the Pro version which is chargeable. I am not an expert in WordPress plugins but the team at Generatepress do a good job swiftly and I am very happy to keep supporting their work.
