Plaid is Pending

    Hey there. My understanding is that Plaid being connected can immediately verify an account, letting Stripe charge/capture very swiftly.

    But presently we are just showing pending charges on Stripe and the account are on-hold.

    @andrewpetersrrm,

    Plaid is an asynchronous payment method, meaning there is some delay between when the payment is processed on your site and when it’s completed by Plaid. Stripe will send a charge.complete webhook when the payment is processed.

    That’s why it’s important you verify that your webhook was setup and that there are no communication issues between Stripe and your site.

    Sounds good. We have the other Stripe plugin active. It’s odd that I can see the charge on the logs for their web hook, but the one for your plugin just says ‘waiting for events?’

    Are these charges specific to ACH in the logs? Or for some other payment method. If you were using test mode for Plaid, make sure you’re checking the test webhook logs and not live logs.
